Elevator Safety | Escalator Safety

Safety is a Joint Effort

Lift Safety involves everyone from technology and maintenance service providers to building owners and equipment users. We have global policies, processes, and guidelines in place to enable that our business activities, including subcontractor operations, are organized and conducted in a structured and globally harmonized way ensuring elevator and escalator safety features.

Elevators, escalators, and autowalks are among the safest modes of travel, and millions of people use them every day. However, safety is a joint effort that involves everyone. Everyone who uses an elevator or escalator needs to be conscious of their own behavior. Building owners and maintenance service providers are responsible for making sure equipment is professionally maintained and kept in good condition. We work closely with our customers and everyone to help them recognize and deal with situations that could lead to safety risks for elevator safety as well as escalator safety.
